In 1889 John M. Longyear set out on his boat to tour Lake Superior, do a little
fishing, and explore Isle Royal. He documented it all and presented his daughter
Abby with a bound book of the incredible trip. His collection of photographs
impresses to this day and will be featured in the presentation. Longyear will be
portrayed by a historical reenactor. Come and enjoy humorous adventures from
