Kaufman Auditorium and the Second Skin Shop are proud to present a community dance production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved score The Nutcracker Ballet on Saturday, Dec. 1st 1:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium, 611 N. Front St. Marquette, Mi.
The magic begins with Clara played by, Stella Huddle, and her sister Francesca, played by Selah Haehnel waiting for guests to arrive at their annual holiday party.
The children are frightened by a mysterious woman in a cloak, then Clara smiles as she realizes it’s her godmother, Drosselmeier, played by Becca Yates. Drosselmeier is known for creating magical toys, and gives Clara the most favorable gift at the party, a nutcracker, played by Josie Truckey.
Francesca becomes jealous of the attention Clara receives from Godmother Drosselmeier, and she breaks the beloved Nutcracker.

Advance tickets are $9.00 for youth, $15.00 for adult. Tickets will be an additional $2.00 at the door. All seats are reserved.
