Marquette is proud to host the 2017 US National Guts Frisbee Tournament. 16 Teams from Around the country will compete for the Buck Buchanan Memorial Trophy. This amazing spectator sport features flying discs at over 80 mph. Free admission.
This is an amazing sport with huge Marquette ties. This event is free admission for spectators , you can bring your lawn chairs and beer is welcome. No glass bottles please. Guts Frisbee is a high speed, high intensity sport where players fire Frisbees over 80mph at a lined up team of 5 players 15 yards away. The object is to catch the Frisbee fastballs with one hand! The sport was invented in the U.P. 60 years ago and Marquette has been honored to host the National Championship from 1977 to 1995.
