The Marquette Regional History Center presents: The Cruise of the Abbie

In 1889 John M. Longyear set out on his launch to tour Lake Superior to do a little fishing. Listen to his firsthand account of this adventure and see original photos taken on the trip. He presented his daughter Abbie with a bound book of this incredible trip and she will share her memories about her father and the boat which he named after her. $5 suggested donation.
