The 2022 Main Event: Gala of the Galaxies

IMAGINE! 200 years into the future. . .
Humans have cultivated a sprawling space colony, and they are celebrating the 200th anniversary with a formal event that every galactic community member is invited to, including YOU! Join the NMU Hospitality Program at the 2022 Main Event: Gala of the Galaxies on board the “HM Voyager’. Start the countdown… your spacecraft will launch on April 16th at 6:00 PM from the Jacobetti Complex “Launch Site”. Your journey will include a multi-course meal, signature drinks, galactic face art, an award for the best outer space apparel, virtual reality, and more! Shuttle through the stars with the students of the HM350 Events Management class in this student-led event, despite growing threats from extraterrestrial life.

The benefits of this event will fund next year’s Main Event and other program needs. Spacecraft tickets are $100 a person and can be purchased through the NMU Ticketing website.
