Remember the Palestra: Community Open Skate

The City of Marquette Community Services Department presents Remember the Palestra, a special community open skate at Lakeview Arena on Friday, February 9 from 6:00pm-10:00pm.

The evening will begin with a special Senior Skate from 6:00pm-8:00pm, sponsored by the Marquette Senior Center. Senior Skate is FREE and open to individuals ages 55+. Skate rentals are also available at no cost.

From 8:00pm-10:00pm, all ages are welcome to join to enjoy a community open skate. Admission is $6.00 for youth ages 12 and under, $7.00 for adults, and remains free for seniors ages 55+. Skate rentals will be available for $7.00.

The evening will feature live music from 7:00pm-9:00pm by Marquette’s very own The Palestras! The Palestras offer brain-selected, artisanally-created music spanning a variety of genres including rock, pop, rhythm, and blues.

Concessions will be available for purchase in the Olson Rink lobby.
