The Road to Farm Block presents: An evening with Kalamazoo's Nashon Holloway.
With a name meaning “oracle” Nashon was born to sing healing. NPR refers to her live music as “crisp and colorful,” and the soulful sound of her jazz-tinged voice and guitar-playing is where Jill Scott meets Lianne La Havas. Having composed for symphony orchestra, she has embraced the divine privilege of recording with producer Narada Michael Walden, who produced Whitney Houston’s first seven Billboard charting hits. Nashon has been seen on The Oprah Winfrey Show with David Foster, live with Hans Zimmer
