Women often forget to take care of themselves when fulfilling the awesome responsibility of motherhood. When done long-term, the mother’s health and relationships ultimately suffer. With this in mind, three local women’s health and wellness experts have joined forces to offer a workshop that will support mothers in making their well-being a priority.

Kristen McPhee M.S. is a Nutritionist and Clinical Herbalist who sees clients in Marquette and remotely through her private practice, Kristen McPhee Nutrition & Herbs, LLC. She completed four years of graduate studies in clinical herbalism and nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and over 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience. Kristen specializes in chronic disease and women’s health.

Chloe VanLente is a therapeutic bodyworker, educator, mother, and is the sole operator of Northern Body & Sole. She uses massage, maya abdominal therapy, reflexology, and craniosa-cral therapy to help women’s physical and emotional health through all phases of life. Chloe specializes in fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.

Melinda Britton is a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth and Early Parenting Edu-cator, Postpartum Placenta Specialist, mother to three, and is the founder and owner of Doulas of Marquette. She helps women and families experience a more supported, safe, and smooth transition in growing, welcoming, and parenting their child. Melinda has created a group of doulas that clients trust and that local providers refer their patients to.
