Through a series of interactive activities and lessons focused on leadership, team building and communication, participants will develop leadership skills and work as a team to plan and lead a community service project!
The Marquette County goLEAD Youth Leadership Institute is open to all youth between the ages of 12 and 18 as of Jan. 1, 2019.
The Institute will be facilitated by MSU Extension educators Brian Wibby and Jackie Martin. Brian and Jackie are members of the MSU Extension Children and Youth Institute's Leadership and Civic Engagement team. Jackie is based out of the Washtenaw County MSU Extension office in Ann Arbor and Brian is based in the Marquette County office in Negaunee. Pre-registration is required by October 29 in order to participate in the program.
Cost: The registration fee for currently registered Michigan 4-H members is $30.00. For youth who are new or returning to Michigan 4-H, the registration fee is $50.00. The $50.00 fee for new and returning members includes membership in Michigan 4-H for the entire 2018/2019 4-H program year.
