Two local attorneys will present on the essentials of public sector employment law, Patrick Greeley and Laura Katers Reilly of Kendricks, Bordeau, Keefe, Seavoy & Reilly, P.C., Marquette and Hancock.
The morning session will cover the topics of Wage & Hour, FMLA/ADA (Leave & Disability), and Discrimination/Harassment; and the afternoon session will cover the topics of Discipline and Termination, which includes discussion of best practices for performance reviews, investigations, and terminations, including special considerations for bargaining unit employees. This is a basic level program, which is both a good primer and a good review course.
