For this meeting, the group will discuss David Mitchell’s novel, Cloud Atlas. This sweeping novel of interconnected stories begins in the mid-19th century as notary Adam Ewing travels from the Chatham Islands to his home in America. Then mid-sentence it jumps to 1930s Belgium with musician Robert Frobisher, only to then jump across time and place culminating in post-apocalyptic Hawaii. The story, however, does not end there, as it then proceeds to move back in time, ending once again with Adam Ewing.
Come to Contrast Coffee, grab a cuppa and discuss sci-fi novels old and new. There is no admission charge to attend. For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
