Most of us as artists are considered self-employed by the IRS, whether or not we have other employment. That raises a lot of questions about record keeping, forms to file, how to pay less, and much more. Here is an opportunity to hear about your tax responsibilities and ask your questions. As this year ends and another year begins, this is also a great time to find out more! Helping local artists to be successful is our primary purpose at Zero Degrees Gallery and we are happy to offer this class to our artists and any other community members who are interested. No obligations, just relax and learn!
Mary Luttinen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) whose full-service accounting firm offers individual, business, trust, estate, and nonprofit tax services. Located in Negaunee, she serves as the accountant for Zero Degrees Gallery and was instrumental in assisting with the process of establishing our non-profit corporation and securing our 501(c)3 determination. Mary is a very experienced professional with a warmly personal and no-nonsense approach, and we welcome you to learn and enjoy what she has to say.
