Deo Gallery’s March Exhibit “5 Colors, A Big Maze, and a Shape Named Dave” features Ben Pawlowski’s three projects displaying his artist and teacher selves in unity. (1) #HaveYouSeenThisColor is a way to engage others through the simple but often challenging act of observation; (2) The Massive Multi-Maker Maze invites participants to contribute to a broader objective while leaving plenty of room for creative choices; (3) #aShapeNamedDave asks others to start with the same, specific abstract form, and take it in any direction that they want. Pawlowski hopes to create space for open-ended collaboration as both an artist and a teacher through these projects.
The Deo Gallery is in the basement of the PWPL in the City’s Arts & Culture Center. Exhibits are available for viewing during the library’s hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9:30 am – 8:30 pm
Friday: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
