Deo Gallery's August Artist Reception - Practice as Prism

Deo Gallery’s August Exhibit features Taimur Cleary, a local painter, and professor at Northern Michigan Unversity. Cleary began painting at a young age and went on to receive a degree in painting and photography at Miami University, and an MFA from Pratt Institute. Currently, he is employed full-time as the Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at NMU.

Receptions are free and open to the public. Refreshments are provided and will be held in conjunction with the Peter White Public Library’s artist receptions for their gallery’s exhibits.

The Deo Gallery is in the basement of the PWPL in the City’s Arts & Culture Center; it is curated monthly by the Lake Superior Art Association.

The Opening Reception will be held THURSDAY, August 11th, from 6-8 pm. The Exhibit will be up the entire month of August.
