There are four candidates currently running for this office, to represent us in Lansing over the next two years. This is an ideal way to view the candidates, ask questions, and make your choice for the August Primary and November General Election.
Three candidates will be present (Joe Boogren, Jenn Hill and Melody Wagner); the fourth candidate (Ron Gray) has declined the invitation. This open seat has been held by Representative Sara Cambensy, who is term-limited. The Forum will include opening statements and then questions submitted by citizens in advance and also live from the audience. Each candidate will have the opportunity to make a closing statement. Doors open at 5:30pm for the live audience.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. The League will accept questions from District 109 voters in advance at jfoley1950@gmail.com, as well as written questions in person at the Forum. The Forum will be moderated by a League member and the League does not support or oppose any candidate or party.
