The U.P. Children’s Museum reprises its community chalk art festival with an underwater twist. The public is invited to pick up chalk paint and brushes at the UPCM, where they’ll be assigned a portion of downtown sidewalk to paint.
The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum invites the community to It’s All About LOVE, an Art Week chalk art festival! This year’s theme is “Underwater Wonders.” This chalk art festival is free and open to all. The UPCM will provide the chalk paint and brushes; supply pick-up and painting will take place between 10:00am-7:00pm. Participants can check-in at the UPCM Courtyard at 123 W Baraga Ave., where they will be assigned to a sidewalk. Pre-registration encouraged. To get involved or for more information, contact the U.P.
