Annual Memorial Chili Challenge

The NMU Hospitality Club presents the 2019 Annual Memorial Chili Challenge in remembrance of faculty, students, and other supporters of the Hospitality Management Program and to benefit Marquette’s Room At The Inn. The event will be held February 17th from 1:00-3:30 p.m. with award announcements at 2:30 p.m. Professional and amateur participants bring their greatest chili recipes to compete for titles in “Best Use of Heat”, “Most Original”, “Best Overall”, and “People’s Choice”. Admission is $5 for students and children 12 and under, and $10 for the general public and includes chili tasting, refreshments, games, and a chance to win door prizes. Attendees will receive a ticket for door prizes with admission as well as additional tickets for non-perishable items. Proceeds from our event as well as the collected non-perishable items will be donated to Marquette’s Room At The Inn.
