Join the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) and the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for a grant writing workshop. This workshop is part of a state-wide tour to help communities across the state learn about a variety of arts, culture, and historic preservation grants available through the State of Michigan.

The presentation portion of the workshop (approx. 2 hours) will contain information about all available grant programs, eligibility, requirements, and examples of previous successful grants. After the presentation, the staff of both agencies will be available to answer any of your questions about the grant process.

Whether you’re a new or returning grant applicant, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to dust off your grant writing skills and get prepared to submit your MACC and/or SHPO grant application.

This workshop is free and open to the public. We ask that attendees plan to follow the venue’s established COVID-19 protocols upon entry.
