A fun filled event sponsored by Dead River Coffee with trivia by the NMU Quiz Bowl Team, a Silent Auction of special items from local merchants, refreshments by Simply Superior and prizes for all.
Proceeds from this event will help provide Spring 2019 scholarships enabling Marquette area girls with limited financial means to participate in Girls on the Run.
With an intentional curriculum and highly trained coaches, Girls on the Run inspires pre adolescent girls to know and activate their limitless potential and feel free to boldly pursue her dreams. The ten week program uses running and other physical activities as a platform for teaching critical life skills and healthy living to 3rd to 8th grade girls. It is the only program of its type in the Upper Peninsula!
