There will be fun events for everyone at Upper Peninsula Land Conservancy's fall fundraiser. The fun will begin with a guided birding hike at 7:30am, then a guided plant hike at 9:30am. Plein air painters will be creating landscapes on location beginning at 10am. Wrapping up the morning events will be guided float down the Chocolay River to the Chocolay Bayou and back, starting at 11am.
Events just for kids are from 1-3 pm, with rubber duck races, a plant scavenger hunt, games and art. At 3pm the watercraft races begin, with the public invited to bring your own kayak, stand-up paddleboard or ... view more »
