The Marquette Artist Collective and Marquette Yacht Club will host interactive family fun with innovative, creative, educational art and activities at the Marquette Yacht Club on the Lower Harbor. Several tents will be set up – there will be an art exhibit by local artists and yacht club members that feature our love of water and Lake Superior; plein air painting of the lakeshore by local artists; multiple art projects for kids young and old, including homemade Nautical Flags; boat building; education stations about keeping Lake Superior clean and safe; opportunities for visitors to experience true coastal rowing in one of the Superior Watershed Partnership’s Cornish Pilot Gig Boats; and more.
