Cross Country Ski Event

Presented by Connect Marquette and Superiorland Ski Club at Blueberry Ridge Warming Hut

The Superiorland Ski Club and Connect Marquette (formerly known as 40 Below) are coming together for a ski outing on Thursday, February 28. This free family friendly event kicks off at 5:30 with hot chocolate, cookies and donuts in the Blueberry Ridge Warming Hut (located at the second parking lot -the lighted loop parking area- off of Hwy 553 past the first classic skiing parking area at the Crossroads Hwy 480 and Hwy 553).

New to skiing?  Members of the Marquette Senior High School Nordic Ski Team and Superiorland Ski Club will help with instruction at 6 p.m then those who want to ski will head down the Blueberry Loop!

Don't want to ski? No problem! The hut has a fireplace and snacks!

Need skis?  Rentals are only $3.

Blueberry Ridge is a state recreational area, so the Recreational Pass is needed to park in the parking lot. If you've got the passport on your license plate - great!  Otherwise there are envelopes and a pay pipe for the rec pass at the trail head, as well as envelopes for donating for the trail grooming which is welcomed.

Admission Info

Free to members.  Ski rentals are $3.  Registration via the event website is requested.
