My Home, the lake, the city, and its special hidden spaces have always motivated me to paint.

In my exploration of local historic places, I express my innermost feelings toward Marquette’s special places and allow others to see it, often, with a unique Impressionist’s Eye or as with Rembrandt’s use of light. I work in oils, acrylics, and watercolor. Otherwise with my own method and technique relating to subject matter, real or imagined. I’ve also added a new medium of paper clay to enhance the textural Impressionist expression.

I wish you to see our quaint city surrounded by waters; many unique places gone but captured with the romance of the impressionist’s heart.
