Project Support is a competitive grant program that provides support for the production, presentation, and creation of arts and culture that promotes public engagement, diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts and the strengthening or livability of communities through the arts. $5,000-$30,000. 1:1 cash match required.

The OS Program provides support exclusively to arts and cultural organizations throughout Michigan. Maximum possible request amount varies according to organization’s CDP Funder Report, as described in guidelines, but does not exceed $60,000. 1:1 cash match and three-year operating and financials history required.

Capital Improvement is a competitive grant program for nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and municipalities that provides funding assistance for the expansion, renovation, or construction of arts and cultural facilities; upgrade of equipment and furnishings to provide an up-to-date environment; provide or increase accessibility to persons with disabilities; or integrate energy efficient products and technologies. Improvements from Capital grants should enhance arts and cultural practices as well as achieve direct artistic and cultural outcomes within their communities. $5,000-$100,000. 1:1 cash match required.

The New Leaders grant offers up to $4,000 in support of arts and culture related projects or collaborations led by a young person (ages 14-30) who is associated or connected to an established youth/teen council or young professionals group. 1:1 cash match required.

Arts in Education is a competitive program that seeks to fund arts education or school-based arts learning projects designed to introduce or enhance student knowledge of and participation in a particular art form such as: dance, theatre, music, creative writing, storytelling, visual arts (including video, media arts, and graphic design), or traditional folk arts. $5,000-$20,000. 1:1 cash match required.
