About Us

The Marquette Compass is a community calendar and creative community resource hub devoted to broadening the reach of arts and cultural programming in Marquette, Michigan, managed by the City of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture.

Originally launched in 2017 as Marquette365, the Compass offers exciting new additions to the preexisting calendar, including a blog with articles and features about our vibrant creative community, a virtual art gallery, a classifieds section for posting calls to artists, job opportunities, etc., community resources for individuals looking for more information about the arts & culture sector and event coordination, a public art database, an artist database, and refined organization and venue directories.

The Compass was launched in June of 2021, and will be under development through the summer. Check back for exciting updates and additions!
