The Marquette Poets Circle is a group of local poets who meet on the 1st Monday of the month to plan events, workshop poems, borrow books and literary journals and share submitting tips for publication and contests. Each month the Marquette Poets Circle sponsors Open Mic for short prose or poetry, open to anyone. The Marquette Poets Circle is a member of the Poetry Society of Michigan.
