Marty Achatz, Adult Programming Coordinator and Organizer for the NEA Big Read taking place this fall at PWPL, is looking for artists interested in creating work inspired by the poems in Joy Harjo's "An American Sunrise."

The exhibit will be displayed in the Huron Mountain Gallery, and there will be an artists reception and talk scheduled at the beginning of October 2021.

Exhibit: October to November 2021

Deadline: September 15, 2021

In addition, the exhibit and artists will be featured in a documentary about PWPL's NEA Big Read programming, including artist interviews. Artists will also receive national exposure through Arts Midwest, the organization that oversees the Big Read program for the NEA.
