Monthly Workshop and Open Mic. Workshop is from 5:30pm – 6:30pm followed by Open Mic. Bring 10-12 copies of a poem to workshop. Peter White 1st floor conference room across from the elevator. Free and Open to the Public.
Local poets meet on the 1st Monday of the month to plan events, workshop poems, borrow books and literary journals, share submitting tips for publication and contests, and discuss the poetry business from 5:30-6:30PM. The Marquette Poets Circle sponsors Open Mic for short prose or poetry, open to anyone, with a sign-up list at the door. Peter White Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library, 6:30PM.
