Join the City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture for the State of the Arts event on March 30th from 6-8pm at the Ore Dock Brewing Co. This social and informational arts advocacy event aims to bring together artists, organizations, businesses, and the public to discuss the state of arts and culture in Marquette.

As the City approaches the renewal of its 10-year Arts and Culture Master Plan, these conversations are an important step in making sure the creative community's voice is heard. Attendees will have the opportunity to share what they are working on, how to better partner and advocate for the arts, and what the most pressing needs are for the next 5-10 years.

The event will have a structured presentation, but ample time will be allocated for engagement and socializing. The City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture invites anyone with a vested interest in local arts and culture to attend the event. Whether attendees have concerns or wishes of their own to share or just want to listen in and learn more about what's going on behind the scenes, they are welcome to join.
