The League of Women Voters - Marquette County will be holding a Candidate Forum for the Marquette Area Public School Board candidates. The forum will be held before a general audience. Candidates will be given time for brief opening and closing remarks and will answer written questions submitted by the audience as well as questions submitted in advance. The League encourages MAPS area residents, including staff, teachers, students and parents to attend and submit questions. If preferred or if unable to attend, residents may submit questions in advance to jfoley@gmail.com.

The Forum will be moderated by a League member. The LWV is a nonpartisan organization that seeks to empower voters by providing information about candidates and elections and encourages informed and active participation in government. The League does not support or oppose any candidate or party.
