Local artist Alesia Braund will display her paintings from the past several years, depicting the various styles and viewpoints of the water while offering participants an opportunity to practice creating what they see when they gaze upon the water.
Local artist Alesia Braund will lead a special project as part of the City of Marquette Senior Center’s Senior Arts program. Alesia will display a collection of her paintings from over the past several years, depicting the various styles and viewpoints of the water, while offering participants an opportunity to practice creating what they see when they gaze at the water. The end products will come together to create a whole image of the lake, made up of many different viewpoints from many different people! This session is free and open to anyone ages 55+. Those under 55 who are interested in taking part in the project are invited to do so later on in the afternoon as part of our Lower Harbor artist and artisan showcase!
