Learn about the new MI-POST form, its rules for completes, requirements for statewide use, and more! Open to health care professionals and the community!
Effective Feb. 8, 2018, Public Act 154 established the law for the Michigan Physician Scope of Treatment (MI-POST) decision-making program. The program uses the MI-POST Form, which is a new kind of health care directive that helps individuals keep control over medical
decisions at the end of life. The form is only available in a handful of communities across the state, including Marquette.
Attendees will learn more about the new form, its rules for completion, requirements for statewide use, and more. Carolyn Stramecki, MPH, project director, Honoring Healthcare Choices - Michigan, will lead the discussion.
