A half marathon, 5K, and 1K kids race plus a 5 mile recreational hike at beautiful Little Presque Isle. Join us for our 25th anniversary!
The Lake Superior Shore Run is one of the longest trail running events in Marquette County and has been the running community's favorite for a long time. HAlf marathoners enjoy beautiful shoreline vistas, tough climbs, spectacular overlooks from Top of the World, in the gorgeous Escanaba State Forest. 5Ker's enjoy much of the same, without the tough climbs. The 5 mile hikers get satisfaction from spending time in the woods and taking in the sites and clean air, while the kids get to compete (for free) and get goodies.
Everyone will enjoy the course, the food, the fun atmosphere and the great overall and age group prizes and tshirts.
Race fees are $55 half marathon adult; $45 half marathon student; $35 5K adult; $23 5K Student; $18 5K High School XC Ski Team Member, $25 5 mile hike, and Free for kids doing the 1K. Race registration found on event web site.
