The Marquette Rockestra presents a groovy evening of “Songs from the 70s” to benefit the Warming Center in Marquette.
The Marquette Rockestra will be putting on the grooviest benefit of the year, when it plays "Songs of the 70s" to raise fund for the Warming Center. As the winter season approaches, Room at the Inn's Warming Center has a greater need than ever to provide services for Marquette's homeless community. The Rockestra will present three sets of music from the 70s including a Singer-Songwriter, Motown/Soul/Funk and a Power Pop. Here's a list of some of the artists you will hear; James Taylor, Van Morrison, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, The Pretenders, Joe Jackson, Blondie, Big Star, Badfinger, Joni Mitchell and so many more. Suggested donation of $10.
