Michigan Ballot Proposal Program

Michigan Ballot Proposal Program

Presented by Michigan State University Extension at NMU Learning Resources Center

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, Michigan State University Extension will host multiple Ballot Proposal Forums around the state, including in Marquette. These live educational opportunities will provide participants with information about each statewide ballot proposal Michigan residents will be voting on in the November election. Each ballot overview will cover the basic issues of the proposal, the potential impact of these ballot questions, and experiences from other states that have adopted similar proposals. The program will feature a presentation by an expert on each proposal followed by time for questions from the audience. Speakers will be live in Lansing and broadcasted to locations around the state. Participants around the state will have the opportunity to submit questions and engage in discussion with other participants at each location.
