In recognition of the 40th anniversary of Michigan’s Payment of Wages and Fringe Benefits Act, Michigan's Wage and Hour Division of the Bureau of Employment Relations is hosting free seminars to offer educational updates, question and answer sessions, and networking opportunities to employers, employees, and other interested parties. The sessions will also cover Michigan’s Minimum Wage and Overtime Law, Prevailing Wage, and the Human Trafficking Notification Act. The United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division will also be in attendance to provide information on the Fair Labor Standards Act and other federal labor regulations.
