Bluesday Tuesday--BahLuze

Bluesday Tuesday--BahLuze

Presented by Peter White Public Library at Peter White Public Library

The Peter White Public Library and the Marquette Area Blues Society would like to invite music lovers to a concert by BahLuze on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 in the Peter White Library’s community room, part of our monthly Bluesday Tuesday series.

Led by singer/songwriter Derrell Syria, BahLuze consists of four seasoned local musicians who have played music throughout their lives and have decided to perform a genre of music that they truly love—blues.  Derrell Syria, who has performed throughout the US with multiple bands, plays guitar and sings lead vocals.  Dave Ziegner, who has also performed nationally, plays bass and sings.  Paul Neumann, drummer, has dedicated his life to performing with other musicians in any place, any time, and any style.  Finally, Gary Parkkonen, plays the keys.  Music has always been a part of his life, and he shows it in his expertise on the ivories.  All in all, these four musicians will impress and entertain you with both original and rearranged versions of blues tunes.

There is no admission charge to attend this event which is co-sponsored by the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library.  Call 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information.
