A free six-week course with retired professor Roger Magnuson
Retired McGill University Professor, Roger Magnuson will teach a six-week course entitled “Three Major Events of the Middle Ages: The Crusades, the Rise of Universities, and the Invention of the Printing Press” in the Peter White Public Library’s Lions Room beginning on Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30 pm.
Professor Magnuson holds a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Education from the University of Michigan. Now retired, he was a Professor of Education, McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where he taught for more than thirty years. Professor Magnuson is the author of four books on Quebec educational history and has been teaching classes at Peter White Public Library since 2007 at no charge.
The class meets weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and runs through October 25. The class is open to the public at no charge and no registration is required.
