On Tuesday, September 19, at 12:30 pm, the Peter White Public Library will show the 2017 film, The Lost City of Z, in the library’s community room as part of its Matinee Movie series.  Bring your own lunch and enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting.  Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.

In 1905, British explorer Percy Fawcett begins his search of the Amazon, seeking evidence of an unknown advanced civilization. Despite ridicule from the scientific community, he sets out on multiple expeditions supported by his wife, son, and aide-de-camp. Starring Charlie Hunnam, Robert Pattison and Sienna Miller, this biographical adventure is rated PG-13 and runs 2 hours 21 minutes.
