DocuMonday presents a screening of the 2016 documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week: The Touring Years on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
Directed by Ron Howard, this film covers the Beatles’ career from 1963 to 1966, the height of their touring years. Showing interviews, concert clips, and stories, it documents the rise of Beatlemania and the impact that fame had on the Fab Four. Nominated for numerous awards, it won the 2016 Critics Choice Documentary Award for best music documentary and a 2017 Grammy for the best music film. If runs for 1 hour 46 minutes.
