Mother struggles to raise her son during the 1970s
The Peter White Public Library invites film fans to enjoy a bring your own dinner movie event on Thursday, September 7, for a screening of the 2016 film 20th Century Women at 6:00 pm in the library’s community room.
Free-spirited Dorothea struggles to raise her 15-year-old son Jamie in Santa Barbara California during the late 1970s. Sharing her home with other like-minded women to help pay the rent, she recruits their help in forming a bond with her son. Starring Annette Bening, Elle Fanning and Greta Gerwig, this comedic drama is rated R and runs 1 hour and 59 minutes.
