The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center’s SmallWorks September exhibit features work by Chuck and JeanAnn LaBelle. Join us for a reception on September 7 from 6-8 p.m
The SmallWorks Gallery features work by Chuck and JeanAnn LaBelle. “Abandoned” will be a photographic essay on the decay of the Holy Family Orphanage located here in Marquette, Mich. An essay, authored and researched by Melissa Meldrum was added to the book to provide a brief history of the building. This book will be available during the exhibit. The LaBelles are the owners and photographers for LaBelle Photos which was founded in 1995 in Marquette.
The exhibit will be displayed from September 4-29 with an artist reception on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be provided.
