Phil Niemesto's Pocket Park Statue Fundraiser

Phil Niemesto's Pocket Park Statue Fundraiser

Presented by The Delft Bistro at The Delft Bistro

Phil Niemesto, one of Marquette's great citizens, will be honored with a statue in his likeness, located in the Washington Street Pocket Park. Although our community has raised close to $4000, another $5000 is needed to complete the project. The Delft Bistro is hosting a fundraiser to help close the gap, and bring people together to raise funds needed for Phil's statue. Tickets for entry will be sold for $10 at The Delft and Donckers, or at the door. The Delft Bistro will be hosting the event and providing appetizers, as well as donating partial sales of a cash bar. Other fun activities at the fundraiser include a viewing of Phil's favorite movie, as well as a silent auction. Phil will be in attendance as well as the mini statue created by Earl Senchuk.

Phil has served Marquette in countless ways, from washing windows, to maintaining a beautiful, flower filled park in the heart of downtown, and is often spotted joking and advising people on the key to living a long and fulfilled life. The statue will be a fitting tribute to a man that has enhanced our community. Please consider donating to this great cause.
