Marquette Maritime Museum's Lenses and Lunch

Marquette Maritime Museum's Lenses and Lunch

Presented by Marquette Maritime Museum at Marquette Maritime Museum

Kurt Fosburg (often referred to as Capt. Kurt) has spent the past several years combining his skills as a jeweler and machinist into becoming a professional Lampist. With James Woodward (the Lighthouse Consultant) as his mentor, Kurt has blended his degree in Industrial Technology and Metallurgy with his love of tinkering with mechanical contraptions into an art form. An avid amateur historian, he also brought his love of the Great Lakes into the lighthouse field. He is vice president of  the Marquette Maritime Museum board of directors. He is a published author of shipwreck tales,  a diver, and a guest lecturer aboard Blount Small Ship Adventures.
