PWPL Strategic Planning Focus Group Sessions

PWPL Strategic Planning Focus Group Sessions

Presented by Peter White Public Library at Peter White Public Library

In June, the Peter White Public Library will begin the process of updating its strategic plan, and we need you!  A strategic plan guides the library in the services it offers.  It helps the library determine what programs, services, and materials will better meet the needs of the public.  For example, when the library updated its strategic plan in 2006, it resulted in an expanded teen services program which included more books, computers just for teens, more programs, dedicated staffing, and the newly decorated Teen Zone, a place for teenagers to hang out and study.

There will be three focus group sessions to brainstorm ideas for the strategic plan.  The first will be on Friday, June 16, in the Shiras Room at 2:00 pm.  The second will be on Saturday, June 17, in the Shiras Room at 10:30 am.  The third will be on Monday, June 19, in the Business Reference Room at 7:00 pm.  Each session will last approximately an hour, and light refreshments will be served.

Are you interested in giving your input on what library services will be like for the next ten to twenty years?  The Peter White Public Library values your opinions, so come help expand and update our strategic plan.  There is no admission charge to attend.  For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
