The City of Marquette has launched an online survey to solicit input from residents and
visitors. Information gathered from the survey will be used in the development of the Master Plan, a
long-range document that guides future development and land use in the City.

All people who live, work, learn, and/or recreate in Marquette—of every gender, race, ethnicity, sexual
orientation, income, and ability—are encouraged to take the survey at this link:

“Depending on who you talk to in Marquette, there are a lot of different ideas about how our community
could or should change over the next 20 years,” says Dennis Stachewicz, Director of Community
Development. “This survey provides a means to capture those ideas to guide our goals and Master Plan.”
The survey is open until Wednesday, January 25, and includes questions about city priorities, the quality
of public facilities and services in Marquette, and opportunities and challenges facing city
neighborhoods.

Paper copies are available by request in the Community Development office, located on the first floor of
the Municipal Service Center at 1100 Wright Street. All responses will be kept anonymous.
