The Deo Gallery is an ingredient of the City of Marquette’s Arts and Culture Center. The gallery is curated by the Lake Superior Art Association, featuring a monthly display of art for the Upper Peninsula’s public. With an offering of artists in all mediums, the Deo Gallery’s unique selection is an opportunity for the community to come together in a space and share their love for creativity and arts.

Variety in Painting Styles (VIPs), is a collective of artists exploring the landscape of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, working in various mediums including oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, eco-print, pastel, and collage.

Formed in 2003, with the intention to uplift, critique, and share ideas, the VIPs have accumulated an octet of creative minds, sharing work in galleries and exhibitions across the Upper Peninsula.

This exhibit features work by Michele Tuccini, Julie Mowen, Susan Roubal, Diana Peterson, Charlice Stewart, JoAnn Deuel Shelby, Connie Tonkin, Gail Mahan, and special guest Ben Bohnsack.
