100DayProject Revisited

“I have enjoyed using some of my COVID-19 ‘free time’ to help me recall and label the flowers in each small panel. The largest number are wild flowers but some are taken from my flower beds in town and at my cottage. I arranged each type of flower in a vase, using almost 100 vases… some loaned by friends… and then photographed it. I realized I wanted to display them so came up with the idea of using scraps of fabric I’d saved for years as ‘frames’ for groups of four photos and then I hooked the fabric pieces together with paper clips. I loved the idea that I was recycling fabrics and clips!!

“I was embarrassed (to myself) to think I had to look up the names of quite a few of the flowers, when at one time I even knew most of their scientific names.

“BUT it has been fun to get the job done… a pleasant one… during these unpleasant times.”

Jane’s project started as a part of the annual, community-wide The100DayProject.
