About the City of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture: The City Office of Arts & Culture, operating under the City Department of Community Services, exists to advise the city commission in its effort to support, facilitate, and grow an empowered and vital arts and culture community. The Office supports and empowers Marquette residents by providing resources to the local creative community, organizing various art events, overseeing the Marquette Arts and Culture Center, managing MQTcompass.com, contributing to economic and development planning for the arts, advocating for the vital role of arts in the community, collaborating with other city offices as an arts advisor, and overseeing public art policies and collections.
