The purpose of Marquette Fringe is to provide an accessible platform to create, participate in, and experience art. We are committed to maintaining low barriers to entry for both participants and attendees. Marquette Fringe encourages experiential and non-traditional forms of art through a diverse creative pool of participants. We seek to provide an event where anyone can have a transformative experience through art and community.

From our historic monuments and museums to traditional practices and contemporary arts, the Council is dedicated to ensuring that every citizen and community in Michigan enjoys the civic, economic and educational benefits of arts and culture. Michigan’s vibrant arts and cultural scene are important to the state’s communities, excellent quality-of-life and thriving economy. MACC is the state’s key conduit for arts and cultural information, grant funding and more.

Upper Peninsula Arts and Culture Alliance

The Alliance fosters and promotes creativity by encouraging connections between individuals, organizations, artists, performers, and audiences throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Upper Peninsula Arts and Culture Alliance is a 15-county affinity group comprised of Artisans and art organizations, historians and culture bearers, as well as allies in related sectors such as tourism and recreation, local and regional government and economic development. The success of the Alliance will be determined by our ability to improve the visibility, connectivity, and sustainability of the arts and culture sector as part of the broader fabric of regional Upper Peninsula development.
